Public Hearing Notice Douglas Township

NOTICE is hereby given, the Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 7:30 P.M. at the Douglas Township Hall, 12409 240^th St. East. Hampton, MN 55031

 The purpose of the hearing is to consider ordinance amendments to the rural residential zoning district to allow roof mounted or free-standing retail solar systems within the district that are designed to offset the energy usage of a property.  Along with permitting their use, the Planning Commission will consider appropriate performance standards for the district to mitigate any adverse effects these may have on the locale.  Finally, the application material that should be submitted for both retail and wholesale solar systems will be considered.
